San Patricio Electric Cooperative was built by the communities we serve, and we answer to local members just like you.

We’re governed by seven local members, who serve rotating three-year terms on our board of directors. Because our board members live right here in our local area, they have a unique understanding of our local needs and guide the cooperative accordingly.

This year, we have four director positions up for election. The district 2 and District 6 positions will be elected for three-year terms. 

The District 5 and Director-at-Large positions will each be elected for a one-year term. These seats were previously filled by appointment, so they are up for election this year. Those elected will run again next year as part of the regular election cycle. 

Voting begins August 12. All members will receive a ballot by mail. Members with an email address on file will also receive election details by email. For your convenience you can vote online or by mail. No votes can be cast at the Annual Meeting.

Voting concludes at 5 p.m. on September 2.

The results of this election will be announced at our Member Appreciation Event and Annual Meeting on September 10.
