Annual Meeting

The Annual Member Meeting is more than a business meeting — it’s an opportunity for SPEC members to come together, connect with their cooperative and see what’s happening across our service area. The meeting is held each year at a date, time and location determined by the cooperative, and all members are invited and encouraged to attend.

As owners of the cooperative, members have an important voice in the future of SPEC. The Annual Member Meeting provides an opportunity to:

• Elect directors of the cooperative.

• Hear reports about the affairs of the cooperative.

• Take part in other business that may properly come before the meeting.

And there’s more to the Annual Meeting than business! Members can enjoy activities, visit with SPEC employees and fellow members, learn more about the cooperative, and have some fun along the way. Special activities and attractions may be offered from year to year, along with opportunities to win door prizes donated by generous sponsors.

It’s a chance to get out, get involved and get connected with your cooperative.

Make Your Voice Heard

The results of the Board of Directors election are announced during the Annual Meeting. Members receive information about the election and available voting options before the meeting, including convenient ways to cast their ballots.
