San Patricio Electric Cooperative's 2021 Annual Member Meeting - September 25, 2021
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, San Patricio Electric Cooperative’s Annual Membership Meeting on Saturday, September 25 was closed to member and pubic attendance. The meeting was recorded and is now available online.
The decision to close our meeting to public attendance was not one that was made lightly, but with an overwhelming desire to protect the health and safety of our members and employees. Although we missed the fellowship with our members this year, the circumstances of the world today required an abundance of caution.
Although our Annual Meeting looked a little different this year, our director election continued as normal with online and mail-in ballots. We thank each of you who took the time to vote this year. The results of our 2021 Director Election were announced in our Annual Meeting video.
One of the purposes of our Annual Meeting is to connect with our members each year, and answer any questions you have about your cooperative. This connection was not something we were willing to sacrifice, so we provided a spot on our election ballots where members could submit questions they would like addressed at our Annual Meeting. Our General Manger, Ron Hughes, addresses those questions in the video above.
We hope to hold our Annual Meeting face to face once again next year, but until then, please enjoy this Annual Meeting video and as always, thank you for your patronage.
