2012 Government-in-Action
Youth Tour

San Patricio Electric Cooperative is pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring two high school students from our area to attend the 2012 Government-in-Action Youth Tour in Washington D.C. June 14-22, 2012.

To be eligible you must be either a junior or senior and your parents or legal guardian must be a member of San Patricio Electric Cooperative, Inc. 

Applicants will be required to write a 250-300 word essay explaining why they are interested in attending the 2012 Government-in-Action Youth Tour. 

Two lucky students will be selected to receive a free once in a lifetime trip to the Nation’s Capitol.  You will have an opportunity to visit the Nation’s Capitol, our national monuments and learn more about our federal government. 

For information on how to apply please contact your local school counselor. Applications must be received no later than March 1st, 2012.
