The San Patricio Electric Education Trust was established by San Patricio Electric Cooperative in 1999. The purpose of the Education Trust fund is to provide students of San Patricio Electric help in continuing their education goals. Each year an independent scholarship committee awards a number of scholarships to area students based on their leadership abilities, community involvement, academic achievement and financial need. To date, this trust has awarded 60 scholarships totaling nearly $53,000 to area students. The success of this program is dependent on donations from members like you. Your contributions help assure that there will be funding available for generations to come. Typical contributions to the trust can be cash donations, donated capital credit retirement checks or donated San Patricio Electric Cooperative capital credits from the annual allocations and estate settlements. If you would like to donate to the Education Trust Fund please let us know. We will be glad to work with you to assure the Education Trust gets the most from your donation. Thank you for taking an interest in our area youth. Back to top
